KARACHI: Supreme Court calling for the report regarding the Karachi land allotment policy enquired from the SSP anti-encroachment cell how many FIR have been registered thus far against the land grabbers, Geo News reported.

The court expressed its annoyance over Fazlur Rahman’s absence. Justice Amir Hani further enquired from SSP anti-encroachment cell is it the policy that only a sick person could become senior member Board of Revenue? And said that whoever falls seriously ill made the senior member Board of Revenue.
The court further asked SSP anti-encroachment cell how many FIR have been registered against the land grabbers thus far?
SSP anti-encroachment cell replied that he hasn’t the power to register the FIR.
